The Wilhelm Family

I eagerly climbed up into his lap and waited for it. I can vividly remember looking over my shoulder into his blue eyes, made smaller by his glasses, while a grin stretched from ear to ear on his wrinkled face.

Here it comes, I thought.

And it did. He began to tickle me until I was in a fit of giggles. It was from these moments that he would tell me that I must have a giggle machine built right inside of me.

Those sweet moments of my great-grandfather are seared into my memory. They hold a precious love that I’ll keep forever.

I thought of that little giggle machine when I photographed this sweet family because our session was filled with fits of endless giggles from these two little ladies. If you’ve had a session with me then you know how much I love when the real laughter breaks through!!!
