One of the things that I say to myself at the beginning of each year is that I want to make it a goal to blog all of my sessions (that my clients are ok with sharing with you all). I’m not sure I’ve ever made it in the years that I’ve been a photographer (professionally since 2007), but I think it’s still a great goal to keep. Every now and then I’ll come back to one that I just can’t let slip through the cracks and this one was one of those.
If you’ve followed along my journey here on the blog, you’ll definitely recognize this family as we’ve done many shoots together. Christine, Rowdy, Bella, Annie and Everly are some of my favorite people on this earth and hold a pretty special place in my heart. Christine is one of my best friends in Arizona (we’ve lived in Indiana for a year and a half now) and even through all the miles, I still consider her so very dear to me.
We ventured through their neighborhood and set up camp in the desert as we watched a monsoon come in (you can see it in the background). The rain and big blue open sky were absolutely stunning and made for gorgeous photos.
Enjoy one of my favorites (I’ll be sharing another one of my closest AZ friends in this same location soon too…nothing like a little friend hang-out in the desert rain!).
