Hansen Family

This age is always an adventure for our little ones as  they are ready to explore and figure out their independence. Which makes photographing them even more fun and maybe sometimes a bit challenging. They are past just sitting still for us and although this makes a lot of mommas and daddies nervous for their photo sessions, I like to look at it as seeing them where they are. We get to revolve our whole session off of their needs and wants and get the poses in when we can. Those little in between moments where our kiddos are doing their own thing always ends up being my favorite anyway.

Isla was amazing, don’t you think? Her little busy personality made me grin with every adorable thing she did. And her little smile was just about the sweetest thing. I loved that she was fascinated by the flowers and trying out her new walking skills and giving sweet giggles when her Mom and Dad did something funny. Her parents were pretty amazing as well. Haley just so happens to be a photographer in the area and you all know how much I love photographing fellow photographers. They’re not afraid to let me do my thing and they tend to feel somewhat comfortable on the other end of the lens. Haley was no different and she and her husband were gorgeous to photograph.
