Michelle & Kyle // Engagements // Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens

I loved this couple from the moment I met with them at their local coffee shop in South Scottsdale and hearing all of their ideas for both their engagement session and wedding. I knew they were going to be fun and they did not disappoint!

Michelle & Kyle’s whole engagement shoot was their vision, starting with their adorably decorated home in warm tones, textured patterns, mix match frames and their adorable silhouettes (a theme in their shoot and wedding) above their fireplace. It was seriously cute.  We started off with them snuggled up on their couch while watching their rival football teams play. Then we scooted over to the kitchen as they told me the story of how Kyle proposed. Him sneaking in on her as she was making cupcakes. Of course, she had to make some more for the shoot.. and perhaps I was even lucky enough to devour one :).  Michelle, you make killer cupcakes, by the way! Oh, and some photos of both of their cutie doggies, too. They may or may not have been practicing in their own wedding costumes for some cute photos :).

After we were done in their home, we were off to catch the last light of the day at the Phoenix Botanical Gardens. Michelle and Kyle wanted to capture more of the desert feel of Phoenix as opposed to the look that they will have with their wedding in Sedona this spring. I can’t wait!

I’m pretty smitten with these two and love the casual vibe of their shoot. Michelle, you were simply beautiful! That smile of yours melted me in so many of your photos. And Kyle could not have been any sweeter with his future bride.
