Dear Kristi,
Maybe this little patch of green in this tiny little field (er, wash) will remind you just a bit of back home. In the middle of the country where the soil is black and corn grows out of it so sweetly you’d think they boiled it in sugar. But here we are out in our desert, away from family, but in a place where all of us nomads who wandered away on our adventures can gather and be community with one another. And, heck, we can just pretend we’re family; I mean, my maiden name is Webb and all (and, yes, Joe even searched on Ancestry.com to see if we actually are related).
I am so thankful for you guys. I am so thankful for your family. And I’m thankful for our friendship. I’m thankful of how you and Joe humbly serve our community with integrity and lots of love. I’m thankful for the joy that you bring to everyone who meets you.
I hope you enjoy these photos! I cannot believe how much your boys have grown since I first met you (just a few weeks before I took these photos).
