I am so, so, so proud to introduce you to the newest addition to the Spires family! Sweet Noah James was born on July 31st weighing in at 8 lbs, 5.5 oz and 21 inches long. He was perfect and healthy and has brought nothing but joy into our home. Like, crazy floods of joy.
I am SO far behind in blogging this little man, it’s not even funny. I even redid my family blog to prepare for his arrival and smother it with posts, but sadly, I haven’t put even one up yet. Nope, not one. I know, I know. It’s bad. I have, however, taken tons of photos that I will hopefully share with you all at some point! Honestly, it will probably be closer to the holidays as I am booking faster than lightening around here (that’s a very good thing), but I can’t just leave all that goodness sitting on my computer. I can’t wait to share with you all his birth story and adventures with his big sister, Maya, whom, by the way, absolutely adores her baby. So hang with me, I will figure out how to juggle all of this eventually! But for now, I’m just soaking in every moment and I couldn’t possibly be any happier.
So here’s a recap as he is about to be 2 months very, very soon!
Newborn // Here are Noah’s newborn photos at 7 days old, taken by my very good friend, Bri. She is amazing at what she does and I am beyond in love with these. I will definitely be posting more of this shoot with Bri down the road! (Newborn photos by Brianna Anderson Photography)
One Month // It took me a whole month to do a little shoot of my guy. I had such a rough first month (breastfeeding, my feet that swelled so large it hurt to walk for two weeks after delivery and crazy hormones) that I barely thought twice about my camera. Praise the Lord that I had so much help from my family (my mom and dad and then my grandma) who flew in to help for the first 3 weeks I was home with him!
Almost Two Months // Here is little man this afternoon. I cannot get over how much he is growing! Last month he was already 11.5 lbs, which was 2 up from his birth weight! Whoa, buddy! I can’t wait to see how big he will be next week for his two month appointment. Seriously though, he is the easiest baby. His biggest fault is that he is a super cuddle bug and will hardly let me put him down. Let’s get real though, I love it. His big sister wasn’t much of a cuddler, so I’m eating this up with a spoon.
SO…there’s my catching up in quite the nutshell. I PROMISE that I will do a better job of showing off my little family as I can! Even if it’s just a picture or two :). Have a wonderful rest of your week!!!!
