I had so much fun hanging out on a warm Sunday morning with this sweet family. I couldn’t help but watch with eyes of a Mama who is (very, very close, mind you) about ready to have a family of four of my own. These two little munchkins are the same age apart as my kiddos will be. I can’t wait.
We met at their house, making our shoot very intimate and comfortable. I’m finding more and more that I really love shooting in peoples’ homes, following a little bit of their everyday life. I loved the dynamic of watching Mama feed her baby, Daddy taking care of his little girl, then taking a break with a tall glass of ice water because it was so hot outside. Then a game or two of chase with a sweet girl down the hallway to see her room. There’s just something about capturing people in their own space, huh?
