Reddell Family // Lifestyle

I love it when my shoots are changed up here and there. It had been a while since I had done a family shoot without little kiddos and I was looking forward to capturing this sweet family! It always surprises me when I realize I am finished with these shoots so quickly. I’m so used to going off of kids or having a little bit longer with engagement or senior shoots.

I met Megan (the girl on the left in the photo below) this past year through my church. She started coming by way of a mutual friend who referred her to me (and another friend of ours) to help her get connected. I was beyond impressed to watch her dive into not just one, but two small groups and get involved right away. She loved it and was hooked. One of the small groups was a young adult (couples/family/singles) community group that Derrick and I go to every week and it didn’t take long to get to know her. Megan has got to be one of the sweetest, most generous people I have met in a long time. When she asked me about doing photography for her family, I knew it would be a good fit. I was excited to meet the family that has helped shape her into the wonderful woman she is and I was not disappointed. Megan had told me that photos were not something that they had done in a while and I would have never known it, they seemed so at ease and had such a fun time . Everyone was amazing and so much fun!
