Newborn // Jack Ryan

We went over to see our good friends, the Compton’s, the other day two days after they gave birth to their sweet baby Jack. I brought my camera in hopes to catch a few pictures. On our way out the door, I realized I hadn’t taken any and I was determined to do so. I promised my husband, who was struggling to keep Maya and her hungry temperament at bay, that I would only be a few minutes.

So what happens when you combine 5 minutes (literally) + great light through the back window + a stool + a sweet, sleepy newborn + and an adoring, enamored daddy (mama had already fallen asleep on the couch from the pain meds she took earlier)?
