My friend, Bri, and I have been on quite the hunt this year to find a certain look that the Arizona landscape offers little of. I have to admit, however, that the lack of scenery that we love has given us some amazing hang time together while we explore far and wide. This little spot is one of the gems that we’ve recently come across and I am in love. I’m so thankful that Ryan and Laura were brave and trusting when I told them where we were going for there photo shoot! I love how they turned out. Not to mention how much fun I had hanging out with these two lovebirds!

I had such a vision for the look that I wanted for this shoot when I knew I’d be photographing Laura and Ryan. I think I only told Laura that I was thinking Fall fashion; layers, plaid (I’m not even sure I said this one out loud, but I was thinking it), warm colors AND stuff that they normally wear because I LOVE their style. I think that every time I see Laura I secretly envy her outfit because she is ALWAYS cute. Always.

When I met them to take them to their spot I might have even gasped out loud because they fit our little location to a tee. They even matched my quilt that I had brought (almost too perfectly, but I’m still LOVING it anyway).

Ryan was telling me all about the first time they met and of course I kept digging for the whole story…first date, first kiss…I’m so nosey.

Hello Laura. I hope you know just how incredibly beautiful you are. These are some of my favorite of you of the day.

My quilt that I inherited from many generations ago. I’ve been waiting for just the right shoot…I actually have one planned for my little family to do with it so you very well might see it again someday. I love it. And it was absolutely perfect for these two.
