If you’ve been following me long or have even been over to my personal blog, you’ll definitely recognize this amazing family as very close friends of Derrick’s and mine. I love this family, hands down. We have grown so very close to both Rowdy & Christine as we raise our children together, attend a small group, stay up late playing Settlers of Catan or Ticket to Ride, go to movies, or one of the other countless things we’ve done over the years. Our girls are little besties too. Christine watched Maya almost everyday for the first year of her life while I still worked full time at my other job (I quit last December to go full time with photography). I still don’t know how she did it, but every morning without fail she would open her door with a smile on her face and it would still be there when we came for pick up. I couldn’t be more thankful.
Needless to say, these photos are dear to my heart as well. I love being able to share this gift with my friends.
Click here to see a slideshow of more of their photos…and the song I used is my favorite. I just very well may, use this for Miss Maya someday. Cause I love it that much.
Bella LOVES her Mama. She’s been a cuddler her whole life.
Adore.
Let’s talk about Christine for a minute. GORGEOUS. I could’ve photographed you all day, Christine. I’m proud to say you’re one of my very best friends. I love doing life with you :).
Such a peanut. She’s only four weeks younger than my daughter, Maya, but quite tinier. In fact, this winter she is sporting all of Maya’s winter wear from last winter.
Rowdy, you don’t take a bad photo yourself!!
We managed to find some pines in downtown Phoenix…ha. Any attempt to make it appear like fall (although it felt very much like summer this day).
I love this girl. She’s been terribly shy her whole little life and just recently has started wanting me! Me! It took us a year and a half to get there, but I’m quite honored that she loves me so much :).
Tiny little feet :).
The picture on the right makes her look so old! Stop growing!!
And just as much as she’s a Mama’s girl, she is quite the Daddy’s little girl too. I love seeing these two interact. All little girls should be as lucky to have a Daddy like Rowdy (ok, ok….and Derrick :)).
At this age, the kids usually tell us when we’re done :).
Thank you my dear friends! I love you!
