I had the honor of documenting some very close friends of mine at the beginning of this summer and I’m so excited to finally share it with you. I had given a little sneak peek a while ago, but with all the must have you’s of everything summer and fall I’ve once again fallen behind with blogging!
I met Phil in college as we shared a couple of circles of friends. I didn’t know him well, but saw him often and was always impressed with his genuine character, outgoing personality that seemed to draw everyone near and a humble heart. Once I moved to Phoenix and found out that I knew a few people from college that lived here, they became instant friends. Even more than that these amazing friends have become my family and community here. I am so blessed to have people in my life like Phil. I’ve shared a bit of this when I blogged there engagement shoot here, but can’t help but repeating myself a little bit. When Phil introduced us all to Cassie, we all knew right away that she was his perfect match. She is perfect for him in every way and I’ve never seen Phil happier than when he’s with her.
I am so blessed to have you both in my life (and practically neighbors) and I pray that your marriage will be blessed completely and abundantly.
Cassie, you are simply beautiful my dear. Stunning.
I love this time during the wedding day and feel honored to be able to spend this time with the bride. Watching all the emotion, anticipation, nerves. It brings me such joy to witness this.
Cassie & Phil had a beautiful backyard wedding at a beautiful home in Scottsdale. I loved the Southwest feel of the desert.
Beautiful.
I love the perspective that Derrick got of the girls above.
I debated on showing the sweet and pretty pictures of the bridesmaids versus these and in the end it was an easy choice. These are so much more Cassie :). Love, love, love.
I was quite tempted to do a whole blog post of the flower girl and ring bearer because I was completely smitten with the photos we got. This is Sophia, my dear friends little girl. She is seriously one of the most beautiful children I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Phil’s nephew was quite the handsome little man too. So darn cute.
See? Beautiful.
Derrick caught this moment through the window of the guys room as they were praying before the ceremony.
I absolutely love the pride on the faces of my friends on the left of this photo as they watch their best friends daughter walk down the aisle. These two did a great job.
Beautiful.
I’m not sure I’ve eve seen someone smash cake quite like this. 🙂
Love it :).
The first garter he pulled out was candy…took him a minute to figure it out 🙂
Always funny!
Thank you Cassie & Phil for allowing me to document your day!! Love you guys!!!
