and the Benningers of course! ! I had the chance to meet this family when Derrick and I went up to Michigan for his Dad's wedding last month. On the day of the wedding, we came to the Benninger's house to hang out for the day since that is where Derrick's brothers family was staying. We had already decided to do a shoot for both of the brother-in-law's families while we were all haning at the house. The Benninger's had an awesome area in the back where everyone else played hockey when it wasn't their turn for pictures.
When I was all done and showing everything to Robin and Julie (sister-in-laws), Jen asked me if I could just take a few photos of her boys while I was there! Heck ya! Have you seen this families eyes?!? So everyone ran in and decked themselves out in their Redwings stuff. Um….so cool. If any of you know my husband well, you'll know that he is a DIE HARD Redwing fan. This family pretty much rocks the heavens in his eyes for wearing these (…ok,ok. You guys rock for many more reasons too:) ).
The boys were all a little shy at first…I totally busted out my girlfriend questions to in turn get the evil eye in between smiles :). I love taunting kids, it's so fun. 15 is the oldes and 19 and 17 are twins.
Still a little shy, but I'm super jealous of those eye lashes!
I love how each one of them have stunning eyes, yet they are all different!
Love that smirk.
Yeah…..I just asked him if he ever had a girlfriend. He said no and got so cute and sheepish….if you are reading this, I mean, uh…manly and burly :).
I was actually still working on his brother and glanced over and caught this look. Watch out ladies!
What….???
Come on, I'm funny aren't I?
That series cracks me up. Probably my favorite of the bunch.
These might be my new favorite family photos…they are so relaxed and rowdy. Hockey style I guess.
They had this bird that was learning how to sing a few songs and it was amazing to me what it could do! I've never been a huge fan of birds so much..but I got brave and held this one and prayed it wouldn't poop on me. He got mad at me and pecked my finger when I tried to put him down. Tough love.
He was quite the poser for the camera though.
Thanks Benninger's for this! I'm so glad you asked!!!!
