I don’t know if it was the fact that it only took mom .4 seconds to pick out ‘E’s outfit and 3 minutes to do her hair, or if she was so immediate to react to my suggestion of where to take photos with an eager yes, or because maybe she has the cutest little girl ever… but this was such a fun family to shoot, not to mention easy.
Karie, I know you were a bit worried because ‘E’ never stood still and were wondering if I got any shots at all, but I hope you like these. Camera’s have patience and it may look like she totally stood still for these shots, but don’t let them be deceiving! I sometimes like it when the kids could care less if I have a camera aimed at them for a couple of hours, it lets them be free to be them (even if it means I get a bit winded and sweaty to chase them!).
Our first location for all you locals, was at Desert Ridge. For those of you who don’t know, it is an outdoor mall and great for kids to run around and discover. Between the fountains and fun walls from the different stores along with a play area for kids…it was perfect for this 1yo.
I love this little look on her face. We had just arrived and went straight for the fountains. I think she was pretty excited we let her run free in them.
I was loving all the signs and lines and angles of things.
This was totally in front of a pretty poplar store. Anyone know what it is???
This one is totally for the fam….
Um…how cute is she? Carrying that purse all around like such a big girl :).
Steve and Karie……super cute.
I love how they each have one of the soles of their shoes up.
Here I go with the textures again (an overlay on the photo). I loved the composition in this one.
These were in their back yard. They had this star hanging from the tree above this bench. I couldn’t pass it up..and how nice of ‘E’ to stare at it while I took pictures, huh?
Karie had a great old wooden table in the back of the yard with these candles on it..another can’t-pass-up opportunity. ‘E’ was totally wearing out (but not complaining!)…and this was the last photo.
Thanks Cowden family! You were so much fun!
