but these ladies decided to truck it and waltz around Old Town Scottsdale during the hottest day of the year. It was a miserably hot day at 117 degrees and it was so humid. At least for us Arizonians. But we got through it fast in that hot, hot sun and got some amazing photos.
I knew when I met Mom on the phone last week that they were going to be fun. It was just Mom and Daughter for this shoot and they were gorgeous together. We hurried through a couple of old buildings and a park in just an hour to get these amazing shots! Not to mention that it was so full of color and texture, my two favorites! I’m loving old natural walls as backdrops. I find myself scouting the streets as I drive for new places to haul someone. Oh yeah, and cool doors. Love.
This shot was at the end of the shoot and they were still holding out! I don’t know very many people that can spend an hour in the heat and still look this good..
A fine example of a great door/wall combination.
I know, I know. I’ve got a thing for the album cover look. At least, that’s what I’ve been told these look like.
Yep, here it is again. I love the colors in this shot.
Totally loved how the wall reflected yellow on her face. Not so natural, I know..but I still like it.
We finally found a park near the end of the shoot with this huge fountain! The girls got just near enough to cool off and play. I’m surprised no one ended up in the middle of it!
Probably the last thing they wanted to do was touch another hot body, but I couldn’t help myself with this cute shot. So sweet. Thanks girls for making it through that hot day to get some incredible photos!
