Baby Sadie // A Newborn Session

When we were pregnant with my daughter, Maya, I had a shortlist of names that I absolutely love and Sadie landed up there on the top 5. I think it’s such a sweet and cute little name for a little girl.

But, I digress. This blog post is not about that, but definitely about this sweet little new bundle, her mama Karen, and her daddy Johnathan. This sweet miracle of a girl came into the world loved beyond measure. She had long been prayed and wished for and to see the adoration poured into her by her sweet family was a beautiful thing to see.

One of my favorites from the shoot is a wish that Bubba (Johnathan) had. Anchors have a special meaning for this family and he has always envisioned his Dad, who has an old anchor tattoo from when he served in the military, holding his daughter. I think it turned out pretty special.
